Colton, is wearing the orange shirt and he is also one of Nehemiah's favorite friends along with Kensington who is the blond little girl with the black and white striped shirt on. 2 year old and Halloween

So we got Nehemiah's costume in the mail today...He going to be a rooster. When we get in the house he says "hold it?" So i give it to him. He then says "mommy rooster, farm!" Yes Nehemiah roosters do live on farms. He walks up stairs with his costume, and i follow him 2 minutes later. I get to his door way and he says "Look Mommy Rooster farm" I look and he has shoved the costume inside the fisher-price farm toy.

One more story...
We went to the SLO farmers market tonight to trick or treat at the downtown stores. We were very unsuccessful to say the least. Yes it was very crowded but the problem was... Nehemiah doesn't understand the concept of trick or treating yet. He would get a piece of candy and would have to hold it till we got to the next store, when that store offered him a new piece only then would he put the one he had in his hand in the bag. I think we got a total of 4 pieces of candy before we gave up. I have a feeling he's not going to bring much candy home for me this year.

I've been tagged...

Jessi tagged me, so i have to tell you 7 interesting things about me. Although i have feeling that after you read these you will find that I'm not very interesting at all.

1. Nehemiah sleeps next to me every night. OK OK after a month of waking up 3-4-5 times a night and being up each time for 30min to 1.5 hours we got desperate. we didn't want to share our bed with him but neither of us wanted to sleep in the rocking chair or on the floor in his room. You will be glad to know we are all sleeping through the night.

2. I am the sheep and goat leader for Santa Margarita 4-H. We have 8 kids in the group, 7 of them being home school kids. At our next meeting we are going to be talking about nutrition and comparing different feed labels.

3. Tonight I'm making meatloaf for dinner. Since Casey has been home i have been making dinner around 3 nights a week. That is a huge jump from the old Zero nights a week.

4. If you do a search for "Debra Kendall Cal Poly" this is what comes up: http://www.calpolynews.calpoly.edu/news_releases/2004/2004_news_releases/may_04/poster.html

5. I am a member of SLOCountyMommies.com which i think is one of the greatest things about living in SLO county. I have met some really great friends

6. My son wears cloth diapers. No running out of diapers in this house.

7. I love having a kid to take trick or treating because i get the candy!!!!

Our Super Fast Trip to Disneyland

So this is what we did on Saturday. Uncle Chris was kind enough to let us say at his house while he was at the river. Nehemiah loved it. We really wanted to hit up the new NEMO ride but the line was 1.5 hours. We figured it wouldn't happen this trip, because we weren't going to ask a 2yr old to wait in line that long. But then he fell asleep in the stroller and we were able to transfer him to the ergo. He stayed asleep till we hit the 15 minute mark in line. We got there at 8am and left a little after 8pm. Casey and Nehemiah were asleep within 15 minutes of laying down when we got back to uncle Chris' house. Too bad my year pass expires in 3 days...

Me and My Mom Class

Our trip to the Fire Station...

This is where you should see pics of Nehemiah oooing and ahaaing at the "fireman trucks". We drove to SLO just to see them. Except after you walked by the trucks and into the station, there they were, in all different colors and after he got one of those things in his hands he could care less about the trucks...
